Rick Borgo is an independent mortgage broker and owner of Anywhere Lending, a top-rated mortgage brokerage specializing in mortgage solutions in both New Jersey and Florida. With a degree in Economics from Rutgers University, he brings a deep understanding of the bond market and interest rates that separates himself from other lenders in the industry. This knowledge, combined with his passion for helping people make smart financial decisions, are the backbone of his business.

Before launching Anywhere Lending, Rick began his career on a buying team at Macy’s in New York City. There, he honed his skills in negotiation, market analysis, and financial strategy—experience that would later translate seamlessly into ensuring his mortgage client’s received the best loan terms possible. After Macy’s, he worked in the trade show industry for several years. Managing client expectations and working in live events gave Rick the experience to anticipate challenges and offer strategic solutions even in the most stressful situations (like on the trade show floor).

After the Covid Pandemic forced his employer to close up shop, Rick had to pivot careers. He decided on the Mortgage Industry (when rates were at all time lows) and obtained his Mortgage Loan Originator license. After learning the ins and outs of the industry for three years at a small mortgage company in New Jersey, Rick decided to follow his entrepreneurial spirit and start his own company.
